April 1, 2011: Visalia, CA 93277 In Friday's league contest, the Exeter Monarchs (Exeter, CA) softball team held off the host Central Valley Christian Cavaliers (Visalia, CA), by a margin of 7-6.
With the triumph, Exeter moves its record to 6-5 on the year. The Monarchs host Selma (Selma, CA) to play the Bears in a Central Sequoia contest on Tuesday, April 5. The Bears come into the contest with a record of 3-6. Selma lost 3-2 in their recent non-league contest against Madera South (Madera, CA)
In their next game, the Cavaliers play the Coalinga Horned Toads (Coalinga, CA) in a Central Sequoia contest, on Monday, April 4. Central Valley Christian will attempt to move on its 4-8 season record. The Horned Toads come into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 10-0 league loss to Kingsburg (Kingsburg, CA).
