August 29, 2008: Ambler, PA 19002 In Friday's non-league game, the Wissahickon Trojans (Ambler, PA) football team knocked off the visiting Tennent Panthers (Warminster, PA), by a score of 40-14.
The Trojans (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Pottsgrove (Pottsgrove, PA). The Falcons come into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Pottsgrove toppled Exeter Township (Reading, PA), 21-7, in a non-league game.
The Panthers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Central Bucks West for a Suburban One - Continental contest on Saturday, September 6. Tennent will encounter a Bucks squad coming off a 41-7 non-league loss to Freedom (Bethlehem, PA). The Bucks record now stands at 0-1.
