In Monday's non-league outing, the East Catholic Eagles (Manchester, CT) basketball squad edged the visiting Tolland Eagles (Tolland, CT), by a count of 49-48.

The Eagles (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Darien (Darien, CT). The Blue Wave go into the non-league outing with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Darien was edged by New Canaan (New Canaan, CT), 35-23, in a league challenge.
