Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Southern Huntingdon County knocked off by Tussey Mountain
January 20, 2016: Three Springs, PA 17264 The Tussey Mountain Titans basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Southern Huntingdon County Rockets to 49 in the Titans league triumph on Wednesday.
The Titans now sport a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northern Bedford County for a Sideling Hill contest on Friday, January 22. Tussey Mountain will battle a Panthers team coming off a 57-51 non-league win over Mt. Union (Mt. Union, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 7-8.
The Rockets (0-12) will now prepare for their contest against Everett (Everett, PA). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Everett was defeated by Southern Fulton (Warfordsburg, PA), 67-45, in a league contest.
