October 28, 2005: Oakhurst, NJ 07755 The Long Branch Green Waves football team scored 20 points and held the host Ocean Township Spartans to 7 in the Green Waves non-league win on Friday.
The Green Waves now own a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Matawan Regional for a non-league game on Thursday, November 24. Long Branch will meet a Huskies team coming off a 34-7 league loss to Manasquan (Aberdeen, NJ). The Huskies record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, Ocean Township falls to 5-3 on the season. The Spartans travel to Monmouth Regional (Tinton Falls, NJ) to meet the Falcons in a non-league game on Thursday, November 24. The Falcons enter the game with a record of 3-4. Monmouth Regional won 25-7 in their recent league game against Neptune (Neptune, NJ)
