In Friday's non-league game, the East Lincoln Mustangs (Denver, NC) football team smashed the visiting Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC), by a score of 54-7.

The Mustangs (12-0) will now prepare for their game against Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC). The Eagles come into the non-league game with a 10-2 record. In their last game, Wilkes Central overwhelmed Newton-Conover (Newton, NC), 47-40, in a non-league game.
