The Bulldogs (2-0) will now prepare for their game against La Vega (Waco, TX). The Pirates come into the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, La Vega was knocked off by Cameron Yoe (Cameron, TX), 32-22, in a non-league game.
The Cadets now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Mexia for a non-league game on Friday, September 10. Connally will battle a Black Cats team coming off a 28-25 non-league win over Gatesville (Gatesville, TX). The Black Cats record now stands at 2-0.
