October 26, 2018: Sykesville, MD 21784 The Manchester Valley Mavericks football team (Manchester, MD), was tipped 29-22 in Friday's league challenge with the host South Carroll Cavaliers (Sykesville, MD)
The Cavaliers (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Westminster (Westminster, MD). The Owls come into the Carroll County challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Westminster was tipped by Salesianum (Wilmington, DE), 14-13, in a non-league challenge.
The Mavericks now sport a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Poolesville for a non-league challenge on Friday, November 2. Manchester Valley will meet a Falcons team coming off a 20-18 league loss to Magruder (Rockville, MD). The Falcons record now stands at 3-6.
