Virginia High School Basketball - Potomac School nips Episcopal

Potomac School Panthers (McLean, VA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Episcopal Maroon (Alexandria, VA), 65-64 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Potomac School upgrades its record to 12-9 on the season. The Panthers host St. Andrew's Episcopal (Potomac, MD) to play the in a Mid-Atlantic bout on Tuesday, February 7. The go into the bout with a record of 14-7. St. Andrew's Episcopal won 74-59 in their recent league bout against Flint Hill (Oakton, VA)

Next up, the Maroon play the St. Albans Bulldogs (Washington, DC) in a Interstate Athletic game, on Tuesday, February 7. Episcopal will attempt to move on its 11-11 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 12-10 record after their 79-64 league loss to St. Stephen's & St. Agnes (Alexandria, VA).
