The Esko Eskomos basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Virginia Blue Devils to 45 in the Eskomos non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Eskomos now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Barnum for a Polar contest on Friday, December 19. Esko will battle a Bombers team coming off a 86-26 league win over McGregor (McGregor, MN). The Bombers record now stands at 7-0.

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Mountain Iron-Buhl Rangers (Mountain Iron, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 23. Virginia will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Rangers go into the bout with a 7-0 record after their 84-35 non-league win over Cook County (Grand Marais, MN).
