Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Baldwin edges Kiski Area
December 27, 2013: Pittsburgh, PA 15236 The Baldwin Highlanders (Pittsburgh, PA) basketball nipped the visiting Kiski Area Cavaliers (Vandergrift, PA), 59-56 in Friday's non-league test.
The Highlanders (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Upper St. Clair (Upper St. Clair, PA). The Panthers go into the WPIAL AAAA 4 test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Upper St. Clair was tipped by San Bernardino (San Bernardino, CA), 52-38, in a non-league test.
The Cavaliers now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Connellsville for a WPIAL AAAA 1 test on Friday, January 3. Kiski Area will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 51-48 non-league loss to Elizabeth Forward (Elizabeth, PA). The Falcons record now stands at 3-3.
