Minnesota High School Basketball - Academy of Holy Angels can't hold off St. Paul Central
December 9, 2008: Richfield, MN 55423 The St. Paul Central Minutemen basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Academy of Holy Angels Stars to 64 in the Minutemen non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Minutemen now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Minneapolis North for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 20. St. Paul Central will meet a Polars team coming off a 74-64 league win over Minneapolis South (Minneapolis, MN). The Polars record now stands at 1-0.
The Stars (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Minnehaha Academy (Minneapolis, MN). The Red Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Minnehaha Academy nudged Minnesota Transitions Tech & Communication Arts (Minneapolis, MN), 76-63, in a non-league contest.
