In Saturday's non-league match, the host Cypress Ranch Mustangs football squad scored a close 43-42 victory over the Manvel Mavericks.

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Katy Tigers (Katy, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 7. Cypress Ranch will attempt to move on its 10-4 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 13-0 record after their 55-10 non-league win over La Porte (La Porte, TX).
