Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Patrick County Cougars (Stuart, VA) and the visiting Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA), saw Patrick County's basketball squad overcome Floyd County by a tally of 46-35.

With the victory, Patrick County improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Cougars host Halifax County (South Boston, VA) to confront the Comets in a Piedmont challenge on Friday, December 2. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Halifax County lost 65-62 in their recent non-league challenge against Person (Roxboro, NC)
