New Jersey High School Basketball - Asbury Park knocked off by Ranney
January 9, 2017: Tinton Falls, NJ 07724 The Ranney basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Asbury Park Bishops to 48 in the league triumph on Monday.
The now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Anthony for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10. Ranney will battle a Friars team coming off a 52-48 non-league win over Blair Academy (Blairstown, NJ). The Friars record now stands at 9-0.
The Bishops (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Keansburg (Keansburg, NJ). The Titans enter the Shore B - Central contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Keansburg was defeated by Pinelands Regional (Tuckerton, NJ), 63-58, in a non-league contest.
