Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Rio Hondo Bobcats (Rio Hondo, TX) and the visiting Port Isabel Tarpons (Port Isabel, TX), saw Rio Hondo's basketball squad overcome Port Isabel by a tally of 47-36.

With the victory, Rio Hondo improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Vela (Edinburg, TX) to play the Sabercats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, November 21. The Sabercats come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Vela won 42-18 in their recent non-league challenge against IDEA Quest College Prep (Edinburg, TX)
