Mitchell Tigers (Mitchell, NE) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Chase County Longhorns (Imperial, NE), 35-32 in a league test.

With the triumph, Mitchell improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to St. Patrick's (North Platte, NE) to battle the Irish in a non-league test on Friday, October 5. The Irish come into the test with a record of 3-3. St. Patrick's won 48-7 in their recent league test against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, NE)

With the loss, Chase County drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Longhorns host Chadron (Chadron, NE) to battle the Cardinals in a C1 District 8 test on Friday, October 5. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 3-3. Chadron won 34-20 in their recent league test against Ogallala (Ogallala, NE)
