The Concord Academy (Concord, NC) varsity basketball team lost Saturday's neutral non-conference game against Northwood Temple Academy (Fayetteville, NC) by a score of 73-57.

The Northwood Temple Academy Eagles basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting Concord First Assembly Academy Eagles to 53 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Eagles now sport a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Freedom Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. Northwood Temple Academy will meet a team coming off a 72-66 non-league loss to Piedmont Classical (Greensboro, NC). The record now stands at 9-10.
The Eagles (13-6) will now prepare for their contest against Metrolina Christian Academy (Indian Trail, NC). The Warriors enter the NCISAA Metrolina contest with a 12-11 record. In their last contest, Metrolina Christian Academy was routed by Gaston Day (Gastonia, NC), 84-50, in a league contest.
