Virginia High School Basketball - Fleming fells Northside
December 6, 2008: Roanoke, VA 24017 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA) and the visiting Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA), saw Fleming's basketball squad overcome Northside by a count of 48-37.
With the victory, Fleming upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Colonels host Kamit Institute for Magnificent Achievers (Washington, DC) to play the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 6. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Kamit Institute for Magnificent Achievers won 57-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Henry (Roanoke, VA)
Next up, the Vikings play the Blacksburg Bruins (Blacksburg, VA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, December 9. Northside will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Bruins go into the test with a 2-2 record after their 69-46 non-league loss to Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, VA).
