California High School Softball - Los Osos nudges Alta Loma

April 19, 2011: Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91737

Los Osos Grizzlies (Rancho Cucamonga, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Alta Loma Braves (Alta Loma, CA), 5-4 in a league challenge.

The Grizzlies now own a 10-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Etiwanda for a Baseline challenge on Thursday, April 21. Los Osos will face a Eagles squad coming off a 4-0 league win over Upland (Upland, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 16-2.

With the loss, Alta Loma falls to 4-12 on the campaign. The Braves host Glendora (Glendora, CA) to face the Tartans in a Baseline challenge on Thursday, April 21. The Tartans enter the challenge with a record of 11-7. Glendora lost 2-1 in their recent league challenge against Upland (Upland, CA)
