Michigan High School Basketball - Petoskey thwarts Boyne City
March 3, 2016: Petoskey, MI 49770 The Petoskey Northmen (Petoskey, MI) basketball knocked off the visiting Boyne City Ramblers (Boyne City, MI), 60-48 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Northmen (18-1) will now prepare for their test against Gaylord (Gaylord, MI). The Blue Devils go into the Big North test with a 12-9 record. In their last test, Gaylord notched a victory over Alpena (Alpena, MI), 58-45, in a non-league test.
The Ramblers now own a 10-10 record. They play next when they travel to Charlevoix for a Lake Michigan test on Monday, March 7. Boyne City will encounter a Rayders squad coming off a 75-57 non-league win over Cheboygan (Cheboygan, MI). The Rayders record now stands at 10-10.
