January 21, 2011: Pemberton, NJ 08068 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Burlington Township Falcons (Burlington, NJ) and the host Pemberton Hornets (Pemberton, NJ), saw Burlington Township's basketball squad hold off Pemberton by a score of 45-43.
With the victory, Burlington Township improves its record to 4-8 on the campaign. The Falcons host Cinnaminson (Cinnaminson, NJ) to battle the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 24. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 5-5. Cinnaminson won 40-23 in their recent non-league challenge against Palmyra (Palmyra, NJ)
Next up, the Hornets battle the Lenape Indians (Medford, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 25. Pemberton will attempt to improve on its 10-2 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 49-33 league win over Washington Township (Sewell, NJ).
