Michigan High School Basketball - Jenison tops East Grand Rapids
December 28, 2016: Jenison, MI 49428 Jenison Wildcats (Jenison, MI) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting East Grand Rapids Pioneers (Grand Rapids, MI), 47-37 in a league bout.
With the victory, Jenison upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Zeeland East (Zeeland, MI) to play the Chix in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Chix come into the bout with a record of 2-1.
Next up, the Pioneers play the Wyoming Wolves (Wyoming, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - Bronze bout, on Friday, January 6. East Grand Rapids will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Wolves come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 77-70 league win over Lowell (Lowell, MI).
