Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Penn Hills nudges Penn-Trafford

Penn Hills Indians (Pittsburgh, PA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Penn-Trafford Warriors (Harrison City, PA), 43-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Penn Hills upgrades its record to 14-2 on the season. The Indians travel to Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA) to clash with the Spartans in a WPIAL 6A 1 bout on Friday, February 3. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 11-4. Hempfield Area lost 55-51 in their recent league bout against Greater Latrobe (Latrobe, PA)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Fox Chapel Foxes (Pittsburgh, PA) in a WPIAL 6A 1 bout, on Friday, February 3. Penn-Trafford will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Foxes go into the bout with a 7-11 record after their 53-42 league loss to Norwin (North Huntingdon, PA).
