In Tuesday's non-league contest, the McLane Highlanders (Fresno, CA) softball team overwhelmed the host Selma Bears (Selma, CA), by a margin of 10-5.

With the triumph, McLane moves its record to 1-4 on the year. The Highlanders host Coalinga (Coalinga, CA) to play the Horned Toads in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 19. The Horned Toads come into the contest with a record of 0-1. Coalinga lost 11-10 in their recent non-league contest against Caruthers (Caruthers, CA)

In their next game, the Bears play the Coalinga Horned Toads (Coalinga, CA) in a Central Sequoia contest, on Friday, March 25. Selma will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record.
