Illinois High School Volleyball - Glenwood over Morton
September 16, 2011: Chatham, IL 62629 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Glenwood Titans (Chatham, IL) and the visiting Morton Mustangs (Cicero, IL), witnessed Glenwood's volleyball team run past Morton by a score of 2-0.
The Titans now have a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glenbard East for a non-league test on Saturday, September 17. Glenwood will confront a Rams team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Lake Park (Roselle, IL). The Rams record now stands at 4-6.
The Mustangs (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Leyden (Franklin Park, IL). The Eagles enter the West Suburban - Gold test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Leyden gained a win over Maine East (Park Ridge, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
