In Saturday's league outing, the Rocky Ford Meloneers (Rocky Ford, CO) basketball squad beat the visiting John Mall Panthers (Walsenburg, CO), by a margin of 59-48.

The Meloneers (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against Rye (Rye, CO). The Thunderbolts go into the 2A Santa Fe outing with a 4-7 record. In their last outing, Rye was topped by Fowler (Fowler, CO), 62-59, in a league outing.
