In Tuesday's league challenge, the Foothill Mustangs (Sacramento, CA) baseball squad edged the visiting River City Raiders (West Sacramento, CA), by a final score of 1-0.

With the win, Foothill upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Rio Linda (Rio Linda, CA) to encounter the Knights in a Capital Valley challenge on Wednesday, March 18. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Rio Linda lost 7-5 in their recent league challenge against West Campus (Sacramento, CA)

With the defeat, River City falls to 2-5 on the season. The Raiders host Dixon (Dixon, CA) to encounter the Rams in a Capital Valley challenge on Wednesday, March 18.
