California High School Volleyball - Clayton Valley nudged by Tokay
October 2, 2010: Concord, CA 94521 The Tokay Tigers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Clayton Valley Eagles to 1 in the Tigers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Tigers now have a 10-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heritage for a non-league game on Saturday, October 2. Tokay will meet a Patriots team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Berean Christian (Walnut Creek, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 11-5.
The Eagles (7-12) will now prepare for their game against Piedmont (Piedmont, CA). The Highlanders enter the non-league game with a 6-7 record. In their last game, Piedmont was nudged by Salesian (Richmond, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
