Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Seneca holds off Neshaminy
December 28, 2008: Erie, PA 16509 Seneca Bobcats (Erie, PA) backers were in high spirits Sunday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Neshaminy Redskins (Langhorne, PA), 43-40 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Seneca upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Bobcats host Maplewood (Guys Mills, PA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 3. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Maplewood won 60-25 in their recent league bout against Union City (Union City, PA)
Next up, the Redskins play the Winslow Township Eagles (Atco, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 29. Neshaminy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 52-46 non-league loss to Vineland (Vineland, NJ).
