Georgia High School Basketball - Washington succumbs to Lincoln County
January 16, 2017: Atlanta, GA 30314 The Lincoln County Red Devils topped the host Washington Bulldogs basketball team by a final score of 46-35 in Monday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Red Devils face the Glascock County Panthers (Gibson, GA) in a A Region 7 game, on Tuesday, January 17. Lincoln County will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 1-9 record after their 56-52 league loss to Lake Oconee Academy (Greensboro, GA).
With the defeat, Washington moves to 5-14 on the year. The Bulldogs host Therrell (Atlanta, GA) to face the Panthers in a AA Region 6 test on Tuesday, January 17. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 10-6. Therrell won 55-52 in their recent league test against KIPP Atlanta Collegiate (Atlanta, GA)
