In Thursday's league match, the host Cinco Ranch Cougars football squad scored a good 35-23 victory over the Mayde Creek Rams.

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Katy Taylor Mustangs (Katy, TX) in a 5A Region III District 19 match, on Saturday, October 20. Cinco Ranch will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 0-6 record after their 56-7 league loss to Katy (Katy, TX).
