Shasta Wolves (Redding, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Anderson Cubs (Anderson, CA), 47-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Shasta upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Wolves travel to Central Valley (Shasta Lake, CA) to encounter the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, January 9. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 10-2. Central Valley won 57-43 in their recent non-league bout against Red Bluff (Red Bluff, CA)

Next up, the Cubs encounter the Red Bluff Spartans (Red Bluff, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 9. Anderson will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 57-43 non-league loss to Central Valley (Shasta Lake, CA).
