Minnesota High School Basketball - North Metro overwhelms South Metro HomeSchool

January 8, 2016: St. Paul, MN

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the North Metro Blazers (Oak Grove, MN) and the host South Metro HomeSchool Huskies (St. Paul, MN), saw North Metro's basketball squad wallop South Metro HomeSchool by a tally of 57-25.

With the victory, North Metro improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Blazers travel to Mountain Top Christian (Horicon, WI) to confront the in a Indian Trails - Gold challenge on Saturday, January 9. The come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Mountain Top Christian won 82-19 in their recent league challenge against Eastbrook Academy (Milwaukee, WI)

Next up, the Huskies confront the First Baptist Crusaders (Rosemount, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 15. South Metro HomeSchool will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 50-36 league loss to Lake Region Christian (Baxter, MN).
