Hillsboro/Central Valley H-CV Burros (Buxton, ND) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Northern Cass Jaguars (Hunter, ND), 54-19 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hillsboro/Central Valley upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The H-CV Burros host Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg (Mayville, ND) to clash with the Patriots in a B Region 2 bout on Thursday, December 21. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg won 46-23 in their recent non-league bout against Richland (Colfax, ND)

Next up, the Jaguars clash with the Maple Valley Raiders (Tower City, ND) in a B Region 1 bout, on Thursday, December 21. Northern Cass will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 51-36 league loss to Milnor/North Sargent (Gwinner, ND).
