Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Bear River Bruins (Grass Valley, CA), 2-1 in a league match.

Next up, the Hillmen clash with the Union Mine Diamondbacks (El Dorado, CA) in a match, on Friday, May 1. Placer will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record.
