March 3, 2018: Columbus, GA 31907 Kendrick Cherokees (Columbus, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Stewart County Knights (Lumpkin, GA), 27-12 in a non-league test.
With the win, Kendrick upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Cherokees travel to Peach County (Fort Valley, GA) to battle the Trojans in a 4-3A test on Tuesday, March 6. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 1-7. Peach County lost 8-2 in their recent non-league test against Crisp County (Cordele, GA)
With the defeat, Stewart County falls to 0-5 on the season. The Knights travel to Quitman County (Georgetown, GA) to battle the Hornets in a non-league test on Monday, March 5. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 1-0. Quitman County won 7-3 in their recent non-league test against Randolph-Clay (Cuthbert, GA)
