Bird Skyhawks (Chesterfield, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Cosby Titans (Midlothian, VA), 72-65 in a league bout.

With the win, Bird upgrades its record to 15-1 on the season. The Skyhawks travel to Midlothian (Midlothian, VA) to encounter the Trojans in a AAA Dominion bout on Friday, January 27. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 6-11. Midlothian lost 68-58 in their recent league bout against James River (Midlothian, VA)

Next up, the Titans encounter the Manchester Lancers (Midlothian, VA) in a AAA Dominion challenge, on Friday, January 27. Cosby will attempt to improve on its 12-11 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 60-37 league win over Clover Hill (Midlothian, VA).
