June 4, 2012: Troy, IL 62294 In Monday's non-league challenge, the Triad Knights (Troy, IL) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting Danville Vikings (Danville, IL), by a margin of 13-4.
With the win, Triad betters its record to 32-8 on the season. The Knights travel to LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL) to encounter the Cavaliers in a non-league challenge on Friday, June 8. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 6-1. LaSalle-Peru won 10-1 in their recent non-league test against Central (Burlington, IL)
With the defeat, Danville falls to 21-14 on the season.
