In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Duncanville Panthers football squad scored a close 27-20 victory over the De Soto Eagles.

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the MacArthur Cardinals (Irving, TX) in a 5A Region I District 7 match, on Friday, September 26. Duncanville will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Cardinals enter the match with a 1-3 record after their 41-38 non-league loss to North Mesquite (Mesquite, TX).
