The Norwalk Bears basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Staples Wreckers to 40 in the Bears league triumph on Wednesday.

The Bears now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McMahon for a Fairfield County contest on Friday, February 5.

The Wreckers (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Darien (Darien, CT). The Blue Wave enter the Fairfield County contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Darien was defeated by Wilton (Wilton, CT), 35-30, in a league contest.
