The Arvada Bulldogs basketball team scored 39 points and held the visiting Aurora West College Prep Academy Spartans to 20 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mitchell for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 12. Arvada will meet a Marauders team coming off a 57-16 league loss to The Classical Academy (Colorado Springs, CO). The Marauders record now stands at 4-6.
The Spartans (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Girls Athletic Leadership School - Denver (Denver, CO). The Thunder enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Girls Athletic Leadership School - Denver ran past Golden View Classical Academy (Golden, CO), 37-25, in a non-league contest.
