Easton Warriors (Easton, MD) fans exited the stadium pleased Friday as they saw their football team top the visiting Bennett Clippers (Salisbury, MD), 48-20 in a league challenge.

The Warriors (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Colonel Richardson (Federalsburg, MD). The Colonels come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Colonel Richardson was beaten by Kent County (Worton, MD), 44-0, in a league challenge.

The Clippers now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Nandua for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 12. Bennett will meet a Warriors team coming off a 49-48 non-league win over Franklin (Franklin, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-0.
