March 6, 2012: Riverside, CA 92503 The Providence Pioneers (Burbank, CA) baseball trounced the host Sherman Indian Braves (Riverside, CA), 11-1 in Tuesday's non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Pioneers play the Yeshiva Panthers (Los Angeles, CA) in a Liberty contest, on Monday, March 12. Providence will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 2-0 record after their 14-4 non-league win over Milken (Los Angeles, CA).

Game Summary
Aaron Ziegler struck out nine batters in five innings to lead the Pioneers to their first victory since 2010. Anthony Galvan led the team offensively with two doubles, two RBI and two runs scored. Marco Paoletta was hit by pitch three times and scored twice.
