Texas High School Basketball - Lamar holds off Eastern Hills
November 14, 2011: Fort Worth, TX 76112 Lamar Vikings (Arlington, TX) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Eastern Hills Highlanders (Fort Worth, TX), 60-54 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lamar upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Vikings host Trinity (Euless, TX) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Friday, November 18. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Trinity won 60-45 in their recent non-league bout against Guyer (Denton, TX)
Next up, the Highlanders face the Wichita Falls Coyotes (Wichita Falls, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, November 19. Eastern Hills will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
