Georgia High School Basketball - Lakeview Academy knocked off by McEachern
January 16, 2017: Powder Springs, GA 30127 The McEachern Indians basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Lakeview Academy Lions to 61 in the Indians non-league triumph on Monday.
The Indians now sport a 15-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hillgrove for a AAAAAAA Region 3 contest on Tuesday, January 17. McEachern will battle a Hawks team coming off a 65-62 league loss to Marietta (Marietta, GA). The Hawks record now stands at 12-4.
The Lions (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against Hebron Christian Academy (Dacula, GA). The Lions enter the A Region 8 contest with a 8-10 record. In their last contest, Hebron Christian Academy ran past Riverside Military Academy (Gainesville, GA), 60-56, in a league contest.
