March 23, 2015: Oceanside, CA 92057 The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Torrey Pines Falcons (San Diego, CA) and the host El Camino Wildcats (Oceanside, CA), saw Torrey Pines's softball squad nip El Camino by a count of 10-9.
The Falcons now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Scripps Ranch for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 24. Torrey Pines will face a Falcons squad coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Brawley (Brawley, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 5-4.
With the loss, El Camino falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Mission Hills (San Marcos, CA) to face the Grizzlies in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 24. The Grizzlies enter the match with a record of 5-4. Mission Hills won 5-4 in their recent non-league match against Vista (Vista, CA)

Falcons mount big comeback to Win
The Torrey Pines Falcons stormed back form a 5th inning 7-3 deficit to defeat the El Camino Wildcats 10-9 yesterday in a non league contest played at El Camino High School. The Falcons scored 6 runs in the top of the 5th inning to take a 9-7 lead and they hung on to gain the victory. The falcons gave up 9 hits, omitted 3 fielding errors and walked 10 Wildcats but managed to find a way to pull out the victory. Torrey Pines pounded out 15 hits in the contest with Sophomore, Alexandra Regas going 4-4 with 3 runs scored to lead the Falcons. Sophomore, Xstaviana Augur went 2-4 with a run scored, a Double and 3 RBI's while Senior, Shelbianne Evans went 2-3 with 2 runs scored, a stolen base, 2 RBI's and a Double for the winners. Junior Makalia Reyes came into the game in the bottom of the 7th with the bases loaded and got the Falcons out of the jam inducing a sacrifice fly ball and 2 ground outs to earn her first save of the season.
