Georgia High School Basketball - Morgan County overwhelms Jackson County
January 31, 2017: Jefferson, GA 30549 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Morgan County Bulldogs (Madison, GA) and the host Jackson County Panthers (Jefferson, GA), saw Morgan County's basketball squad wallop Jackson County by a tally of 71-43.
With the victory, Morgan County improves its record to 18-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Monroe Area (Monroe, GA) to confront the Hurricanes in a AAA Region 8 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a record of 11-12. Monroe Area won 71-57 in their recent league challenge against Hart County (Hartwell, GA)
Next up, the Panthers confront the East Jackson Eagles (Commerce, GA) in a AAA Region 8 challenge, on Friday, February 3. Jackson County will attempt to improve on its 3-19 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-21 record after their 61-43 league loss to Franklin County (Carnesville, GA).
