The Valley Union Blue Devils football team (Elfrida, AZ), was ripped 50-12 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Mogollon Mustangs (Heber, AZ)

The Mustangs (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Fredonia (Fredonia, AZ). The Lynx come into the 1A North (8 Man) challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Fredonia trounced Mohave Accelerated (Bullhead City, AZ), 36-8, in a non-league challenge.

The Blue Devils now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Baboquivari for a 1A South (8 Man) challenge on Friday, September 14. Valley Union will meet a Warriors team coming off a 61-0 non-league loss to Hayden (Winkelman, AZ). The Warriors record now stands at 1-3.
