Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Blue Valley North Mustangs (Overland Park, KS) and the visiting Blue Valley Southwest Timberwolves (Overland Park, KS), saw Blue Valley North's basketball squad trounce Blue Valley Southwest by a count of 73-40.

With the victory, Blue Valley North upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Blue Valley West (Stilwell, KS) to play the Jaguars in a Eastern Kansas challenge on Friday, January 14. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Blue Valley West lost 44-32 in their recent league challenge against Blue Valley Northwest (Overland Park, KS)
